How Penis Pumping Works
The Short Answer
Penis pumping works through the controlled application of vacuum pressure to a penis using a
vacuum cylinder and vacuum pump. Vacuum pressure increases penile thickness (or girth) by enlarging the volume
of the corpora cavernosa, a spongy tissue that retains blood to produce an erection. Vacuum pressure also
lengthens the penis by stretching the suspensory ligament, making it more elastic, and thus allowing the penis to
grow longer during an erection.
The Long Answer
Penis pumping produces two distinct types of penile enlargement: temporary gains and
permanent gains.
Temporary Gains
First-time and recreational penis pumpers immediately experience an exciting temporary
gain called Lymphedema.
Vacuum pressure applied to the penis immediately causes the spongy penile tissue known as
the corpus cavernosa to engorge with blood, much as it does during an erection. Continued application of pressure
for several minutes causes lymphatic fluid to slowly penetrate deep inside the tissue of the penis, where it
becomes trapped. This condition is called Lymphedema, and it is the reason that your penis will be noticeably larger
and dramatically heavier after pumping than it is normally during an erection.
While Lymphedema is a temporary condition that will begin to subside after the vacuum pressure
is released, the bulk of the lymphatic fluid will take two to three hours to drain from the penis. This time
frame can be dramatically lengthened through the application of comfortable pressure at the base of the penis
with a cock ring after penis pumping.
Permanent Gains
Permanent penile growth occurs in the form of enlarged length and girth (also called
circumference or thickness).
When you apply vacuum pressure with a penis pumping cylinder, you force blood into the penis.
Penis pumping will force more blood into the penis than the
penis normally contains during an erection. To accomodate the extra volume of blood, the spongy corpus cavernosa
tissue expands. Over time, with regular penis pumping, the corpus cavernosa tissue will grow, developing a memory
that will allow for a permanent increase in the volume of fluid that the tissue will accept. This persistant
ability of the tissue to enlarge to a greater capacity results in enlarged penile girth.
Permanent lengthening of the penis through the use of vacuum pressure occurs when the
elasticity of the suspensory ligament is improved through stretching. The suspensory ligament holds the penis
to the pubic bone, and although it is resistant to stretching, regular and ongoing vacuum pumping will
improve the ligament's elasticity. Significant sustained growth in penile length is much more difficult to
achieve than similar gains in girth, but for those with the dedication, sustained growth of one or two inches
is typical, and much more significant growth is possible.
Girth versus Length
Most penis pumpers experience more pronounced growth in the girth of their penis than
in the length of their penis, and most women find girth to be more important to stimulation than overall
length anyway. However, for those interested primarily in lengthening their penis, a vacuum cylinder
that fits the girth of the erect penis snugly is best. The tighter fit relative to the sides of the cylinder
wall produces more lengthening and stretching of the suspensory ligament, but limits enhancement of girth.
The Big Picture
Whether you desire a temporary increase in penis size or permanent gains, it is our
experience that most men enjoy both the process and the immediate enlargement from penis pumping. Permanent
gains are fantastic for obvious reasons, but will require a disciplined routine similar to an aggressive
body building program at a gym.
